Arizona: Congratulations to Arizona homeopaths!!! Arizona has passed a limited health freedom safe harbor exemption law, exempting practitioners from licensing requirements under the Board of Homeopathic and Integrated Medicine Examiners. Persons and acts exempted will be “the practice of providing treatment of the spiritual vital force in accordance with hahnemanian principles through the use of remedies that are diluted beyond the concentration of substances in drinking water and prepared in the manner described in the homeopathic pharmacopoeia of the United States” This is a great beginning showing that the Arizona legislature understands and is open to the safe harbor concept and hopefully the health freedom advocates will continue to request changes to be able to use the title “homeopath” in the future, and exempt all other unlicensed practitioners from the act as well.
