Joan Vandergriff N.D.

President

Joan Vandergriff N. D. has been in the health field for 29 years and has lectured nationally and internationally. She spoke at the 4th World Congress of Traditional Medicine in Peru in 2002. She is a Certified Natural Health Professional, Master Herbalist and Naturopathic Doctor. Joan has many certificates including the Academy of Bio/Energetic and Integrative Medicine.

She is a Senior National Manager with Nature Sunshine. She is known throughout Nature Sunshine as the author of Nature's Treasure Chest as well as her pH balancing tape and brochure- pH Balancing Simplified. She has worked with integration of the medical community and alternative health for many years and was involved in a medical research for Lyme's Disease in 2002. In 2005 Joan was motivated to get involved with the Health Freedom movement. This became a real passion and she actively pursued the goal of preserving and blazing the trail to health freedom in our country. Her concern, passion and total involvement was the driving force that soon led to her nomination of President of the Health Freedom. She is following in the footsteps of a well worn path blazed by freedom fighter Jack Ritchason.

James D Jenks is not a licensed M.D. He is a health trained Naturopath, Herbalist, Homeopath, Iridologist and Hypnotherapist.

Kirk Bashaw

Secretary

Kirk Bashaw has been involved with the Natural Health field actively for the past six years. He is a Senior National Manager with Nature's Sunshine through his partnership with Bashaw Life Center.

Kirk received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Studio Art from Nazareth College of Rochester, New York in 1981. He is a Certified Natural Health Professional and is currently studying to be a Naturopath through Trinity School of Natural Health.

His free time is spent keeping physically active by coaching his son's sports or working in and around his home. He hasn't seen a home, yard or a person he couldn't ipmrove with a little hard work!

Cynthia Reed

Board Member

Cynthia Reed received her Doctor of Naturopathy Master's Degree in April 2004. She has been studying and practicing in her field since the mid 1990's. She is a trained counselor in modalities such as iridology, kinesiology, herbology, nutrition and dietary evaluations.

Cynthia served as First Vice President of the Louisiana Health Freedom Coalition from December 2004 to July 2007. She currently serves as the President of LHFC, as the Louisiana State Coordinator for the Sunshine Health Freedom Foundation, as well as being a board member for SHFF.

The Sunshine Health Freedom Foundation is a non profit corporation created exclusively for the promotion, maintaining and expanding health freedom for Americans.
